Terms of use
1. What Olvian is
A marketing and lead-referral service. We collect your request and consent and pass them to licensed insurers and brokers. We are not a licensed financial services provider, we do not give advice, and we do not sell insurance. Any policy you buy is a contract between you and the insurer.
2. Free to you
You pay nothing. Insurers pay us a flat fee per referral that does not depend on your premium or on whether you buy.
3. Your obligations
You are 18 or older. The details you give are your own and accurate. You do not submit requests on behalf of others without their consent. You do not use automated tools to submit requests.
4. What we do not promise
That any insurer will offer you cover, at any price. That a call will happen at the exact minute chosen, though we pass the window to the insurer as a booking. That content on the site is advice; it is general information, dated, and may change.
5. Your consent and opt-out
Governed by the consent screen and the privacy notice. STOP works on every channel.
6. Content and guides
General information, checked at the date shown. Not advice, not a recommendation of any product. Check the policy wording the insurer gives you.
7. Intellectual property
The site, the Index and the guides are ours. You may cite and link to them. You may not scrape the site or republish the funnel.
8. Liability
We are responsible for handling your information lawfully and for what our service does. We are not responsible for the insurer's advice, product, service or claims decisions; complaints about those go to the insurer and then to the ombud.
9. Complaints about us
privacy@olvian.com first. Then the Information Regulator for information matters, and the National Consumer Commission for marketing matters.
10. Law
South African law applies. Disputes go to South African courts.
11. Changes
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version.
